Tom Kelly
Managing Director - Logicalis UK

Tom has been Managing Director of Logicalis UK since 2004, and following the successful merger of its computing and networking divisions in 2006, has evolved the business to become a leading UK Systems Integrator and managed service provider.

He has over 30 years of ICT expertise including MBO and private equity experience, excellent contacts across the ICT sector, and is known to be frank and open in discussion.

Today Logicalis owns and operates its own data centres, providing customers with made-to-measure hosted and managed services, and is an acknowledged thought leader in cloud computing and the benefits it can bring to shared service delivery.


Simon Daykin
Chief Technology Officer - Logicalis UK

Simon joined Logicalis in April 2007 and was appointed CTO in April 2010 leading the technical strategy, core platform development and driving the development of the “as a Service” portfolio.

Simon's career in ICT started in the defence industry moving into the finance sector before joining Logicalis, bringing a wealth of experience developing platforms, solutions and driving transformation projects in some of the most demanding of environments. 


 Chris Gabriel

Marketing & Solutions Director - Logicalis UK

Chris joined Logicalis in January 2006 to lead the business' focus on defining and marketing its core ‘go to market’ solutions propositions.

With 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, Chris has spent his career working within both systems integration organisations and IT vendors (Logicalis, 2e2, SCC, Cabletron Systems), and has worked for the last 10 years in product marketing and market roles in the UK, Europe and United States.

While at Cabletron Systems (now Enterasys) Chris worked in the US Corporate HQ in New Hampshire as Global Director of Public Relations, and was part of the executive IPO team that spun Enterasys Networks out from the parent company, Cabletron Systems.

Chris heads up the UK Marketing function at Logicalis, and as well as being responsible for key UK marketing initiatives also supports Group marketing and messaging strategies.


 

Matt Tyne
Finance Director - Logicalis UK

Matt joined Logicalis UK in July 2007 as Finance Director and has overall responsibility for all back-office functions including IT, Legal, Human Resources, Finance and Operations.

Matt started his career with BOC Group Plc where he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant and now is a Fellow of the Institute. He has held a number of finance and business roles with UK, European and Global responsibilities.  He has over a decade of experience within the ICT industry and was at Hitachi Data Systems for ten years, before joining Logicalis.


 

Mark Starkey
Commercial Director - Logicalis UK

Mark joined the Logicalis Group in September 1998 having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant from Ernst & Young.  He has held various finance positions within the Group including Financial Controller at Westcon, Financial Director at Satelcom and various Group accounting roles.

In February 2005 Mark took the role of Commercial Director at Logicalis Network Solutions and was actively involved in combining the operations of acquisitions such as Notability Solutions, Hawke Systems, TBC and CSF into Logicalis UK.


 
David Swayne

David Swayne
Services Director - Logicalis UK

David joined Logicalis in June 2011 as Services Director and has overall responsibility for service delivery within Logicalis UK. 

He has over 25 years of experience within the ICT industry and prior to joining Logicalis was Director of Information Systems at Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

At NTU he was responsible for the delivery of all ICT systems and services, including Audio Visual, across the University, and was instrumental in the deployment of innovative solutions designed to enhance the student experience. 

An example of this was in the development of the University's award-winning Newton and Arkwright building regeneration scheme, which ensured the refurbished university buildings benefited from a state-of-the-art ICT infrastructure from the outset, supporting an enhanced, interactive student learning environment.

Prior to this he was a Member of the Executive Committee of HBOS Europe Financial Services, accountable for IT operations, development, strategy and governance.

David has spent his career in a range of public and private sector organisations, including higher education, financial services, local government, professional services and e-commerce.


Chris Miller

Sales Director - Logicalis UK

Chris joined Logicalis UK in October 2011 to lead the customer account and new business development teams, and has worked in the UK IT industry for 30 years, in a variety of key management and executive roles.  Prior to joining the Logicalis Senior Management Team Chris was CEO of DediPower Managed Hosting, where he was responsible for all aspects of their Managed Hosting and Cloud Services business.

Chris previously spent over 13 years at CA, including three years as Senior Vice President of the UK & Ireland business, and a year as Head of EMEA Operations. Prior to CA, Chris worked in a number of sales, technical management, and technical specialist roles at companies including MAXM Systems, Goal Systems, Candle, the Bank of England, and the Joint Credit Card Company.

As well as being a member of the IT Livery Company and Freeman of the City of London, Chris is a founder member of the Employer Group, working with e-skills UK to create and now deliver their IT Management for Business degree, and he also actively supports the Prince's Trust.
