Lifecycle Optimisation

Optimisation services include Asset Audits, Technology Reviews, Service Level Assessments, Service Management Process Assessments, all aimed at ensuring our solutions continue to bring value to the organisation.

These services can be broken down into the following areas:

  • Cost Optimisation – Based around a TCO review that can include a fixed and mobile call analysis, review of maintenance services, bandwidth analysis, leasing options and upgrade possibilities. We can also include billing reconciliations for carrier services if appropriate.
  • Security Optimisation – A review and audit of wireless security, email and anti-virus policies, an Intrusion Detection Review and Penetration Test including a Vulnerability Assessment. This would be extended to any data and voice services implemented.
  • Performance Optimisation – Analysis of performance and configurations plus a traffic analysis and capacity analysis for all elements including applications, servers, security equipment, wireless and fixed networks, voice services and any external bandwidth services.
  • Process Optimisation – Including a review of existing Service Management processes against best practice (e.g. ITIL) and the evaluation of process interfaces such as internal, supplier etc.
  • Service Level Optimisation – Review of existing SLAs and evaluation against business needs including analysis of service related problems and their root causes. Also included can be a review of how future business trends/requirements will impact existing SLAs.
  • Asset Optimisation - Involving the auditing, verification and analysis of asset databases. We can also undertake technology reviews and provide options for upgrades.
