Our public sector manifesto outlines the need
for a flexible, nimble, innovative approach – creating partnerships
where reward and risks are shared, and exchanging ideas and new
ways of delivering ICT across the public sector, irrespective of
our past views or past allegiances.
It’s about doing big things quickly, and
creating savings in IT and the wider organisation by enabling
everybody to think and act differently.
Fundamentally the ICT industry must act as one
of the enablers of change.
ICT will be one of the casualties of budget
cuts, but it can also be a generous benefactor to the rest of the
organisation in helping them make the changes that will keep money
in front-line services.
