Logicalis EPM solutions enable the monitoring of your systems in the server farm - not only the hardware systems such as Windows, Unix and Linux, but also the applications that reside on those systems.

Using embedded or third party system agent technologies, system resources such as CPU, memory, virtual memory and disk can be monitored. In real time, any anomalies on the hardware platform are detected and alerted on. Long term reporting on the systems provides hardware inventory reporting, in addition to system availability and performance reporting for troubleshooting, service level reporting and capacity planning.

For generic application monitoring Logicalis EPM solutions use the system agent solutions to proactively monitor the core processes/service and log files of applications, in addition to the underlying operating system, hardware and network connectivity supporting those applications. This enables the heterogeneous monitoring of both off-the-shelf and in-house applications across Windows, Unix and Linux-based platforms.

Mission critical problem resolution can be automated on system agents, including the re-starting of failed processes/services, so that potentially disastrous failures have minimal impact on your organisation.

In addition to generic application support, specific application extensions are available for our system agents that add pre-configured support for key types of applications. These plug-in modules provide instant support to monitor the footprint and configuration of the application and the performance of it's key components. The pre-configured application extensions available include :

• Network Services: DNS, DHCP, WINS, AD, LDAP
